To open an S-Deposito, you commit to building at least 100 fine ounces of silver (1 oz. = 31.104 g). The timeframe for doing so is freely selectable. Additional payments and withdrawals are possible from EUR 100.
When opening the account, a one-off commission of 5 percent applies to the price of the target investment on the day of account opening. From 10,000 oz. (approx. 311 kg), the commission is reduced to 1.5 percent.
For target investments up to 500 oz. (approx. 15.5 kg), the annual custody account fee is 0.5 oz. of silver granules. For larger S-Depositos, the annual fee is 1 oz.
The standard annual storage fee is 1 percent of the average silver granule holdings; from 10,000 oz. onwards it is 0.8 percent.
For clients resident in Switzerland, the statutory VAT is charged in addition to the custody account and storage fees.
You can exchange the silver granules into EUR or CHF on business days. The requested amount is then deducted from your S-Deposito and credited to your account.
Purchases, sales and barter transactions are exempt from VAT. Swiss private clients do not pay tax on capital gains. German private clients do not either, provided the holding period is at least 12 months.
Swiss clients must declare the account holdings as assets based on the account statement, while German clients are not subject to a wealth tax. Clients from other countries should consult their tax adviser.
Your data is stored multiple times on our own servers. If the internet goes down, you will no longer have access to your online account. Your precious metal in the Swiss duty-free warehouse does not move an inch. There is no need to panic – this is not digital money, but physical precious metal.
You do not have to define a fixed term for your S-Deposito. If you want to close the silver account, you can instruct us to do so at any time.

Your purchased silver granules are stored in a Swiss duty-free warehouse. They are insured against robbery, burglary, fire and other risks.
